The mission of The Miami Progressive is to provide a forum for polite discussion and discourse of topics, mainly political in nature. We aim to provide information primarily to the progressive/liberal community of the South Florida region; however, politeness is required from all parties, regardless of political affiliation. The Miami Progressive will speak up for those who are, or who might be, underrepresented by the “normal” democratic processes available in this city, state, and country. We will actively advocate for changes to those policies that are harmful to the health and economic welfare of the citizens of our region and our country.
