The Cuban Penal Code, in its article 210 sanctions with pains of three months to a year of prison or fines the person whom it makes, spreads, makes circulate, reproduces, it stores or it transports publications without indicating the press or the place of impression or without fulfilling the rules established for the identification of his author or his origin.

In March of 2003, 75 opponents were condemned, almost all by virtue of law 88/99, that represses the attitude of those who nevertheless pass on information on Cuba to the outside, the fact that the credited foreign journalists which they do the same, are not bothered gives rise to think that the objective of the government is not the search of the informative truth, rather a route to us to repress the independent journalists.

Veritas liberabit you, “the truth will make free�, says the sacred text you. … The amount of followers to a party or political regime cannot be spoken of, in a nation where the mere possibility of not sharing that political idea would lead to any individual to the ruin or to the setback… the fidelity of the political idea and to the orthodox principles could have existed, but the lack of freedom given by the pressure of means generates the lack of sincerity towards itself, towards the own principles, it gives rise to the doblez, and the fidelity from which we come speaking would not be another thing that the natural and own reaction of the human being, before its instinct of conservation.

The “independent Media� in our country has left to the rescue the mother country, to many today represent us brothers with dignity between grates and others we waited our turn, but what it is not possible to be denied it is that the truth is the way more direct than will take to our town to be free.
