A: North American authorities Of: Project of Cuban Rural Civic Development
to Mr. President George W. Bush, the presidential and republican democratic candidates, to the Congress generally, the integral organizations of the project of Cuban Rural Civic Development: National alliance of Independent Agriculturists of Cuba, Training center and Agricultural Investigations, Latin American Federation of Rural Women and the Union of Rural Young people we urged, them to take executive and legislative measures, that although are prerogatives strictly of their responsibility, if they directly affect to our town and its civic institutions, like ours. We understand that the United States, like nation, the right is reserved to choose and to determine its commercial and financiaros partners, but also considered that a world of free market, the private institutions enjoy the same right that the governments to participate in the mechanisms of the free commerce. In this sense we asked that one includes us to the sector deprived in Cuba, at least to the agriculturist, under the benefits in the agreements of product sale and agricultural consumptions, that today the Cuban Government enjoys and its participation to the authorization of the Cuban private producers in these commercial agreements is conditioned to him.
