Italian citizen realizes important donation to Cuban political prisoner

SANTIAGO OF CUBA, 30 of June (www.miamiprogressive.com) an Italian tourist who visited our city days back, was interested in the needs of our independent news agency Aplopress. All members we agreed, that although we lack everything, we preferred that to its it sent it aid for Juan Carlos Herrera Acosta, a journalist of our agency jailed from the 2003, in the world-wide well-known cause of the 75.

When arriving at its country it made us arrive the important donation, that it included a pair of shoes tennis, that we took from the month of March asking for them to different places. The shoes tennis are important for Juan Carlos at the time of leaving to take sun in the prison.

The charitable gentleman also made us arrive a good amount from necessary things for the prison, for such reason, the past Saturday I moved to the province of Guantánamo to give to his wife Ileana Danger Hardy, the important donation.

During my visit I talked very many with the wife of Juan Carlos Herrera, who said to feel very been thankful for when recognizing my gesture, because it is very difficult to face the situation to maintain the family with a political prisoner in the Cuban prisons. Today I could verify that reality, when Mrs. Teresa Alvarez Mountain range, mother of the political prisoner Erick Jesus Valdez Alvarez, appeared in my house asking just a little bit of detergent to take to him to her son in her next visit in the prison of Water carriers, but with so bad luck, that nor soap we had to bathe to us.
