The principle of the aim, to institutionalize the opposition and the civil society in Cuba

Santiago of Cuba, 3 of April - (www.miamiprogressive.com) it is not a secret for anybody, that the aim of the Castro dictatorship - in its present version - biologically he is finishing. Many are the scenes that consider for their end. Even, how the political forces and their respective interests, will interact so that end is according to their conveniences. Nevertheless, the main problem that we must surpass is to accept our reality. Many hope that the democracy in Cuba arrives from the hands of an opposition government at the Castros, with capacity to distribute justice from the force of their power.

The necessity of those of above of not being able to continue living like until now, must cause short term changes in Cuba. Those changes, not necessarily must agree with the transition to the democracy that many conceive or hope. However, well they will be seen by a great part of the Cuban population, as much by the one of here, like the been one in the outside.

An opening from above, with the intention to maintain a control political, that it guarantees the economic patrimony of the descendants of the present nomenclature, perhaps the opposition would not see by far affability it, but it would be possible to ask itself, has become the sufficient thing to avoid it? I am certainly no.

The most active initiative and the one than more endorsement are receiving at the moment is the carried out one essentially by the Ladies of Target, with its marches in demand of the freedom of the political prisoners.  Now reinforced with the order of Reyna Luisa Tamayo to extend those manifestations to all the municipalities of the country, that will have its acid test this next Sunday, because if Reyna Luisa does not manage to try the first march despite the consequences, the initiative can die.

However, so that this initiative becomes an effective weapon in the political fight, it must fulfill certain premises: that the marches are systematically realized by zones of population HD; to stimulate the participation, so that all the prisoners of the cause of the 75 have representation in the movement of the Ladies of Target; that all the political prisoners stimulate their relatives so that they get up to the Support battalion the Ladies of Target and who are avoided restrictions that prevent their growth; to turn the marches into a prioritized task of the opposition, where all women and the members of the civil society, by means of the Support battalion add themselves to this civic movement.

Another one of the actions that are moving the political climate is the hunger strikes, inspired by the connotation that had the death of Orlando Zapata Tamayo. Many they consider them useless, but before the totalitarianism all strategy is good, as long as it leads to saturate the repression. That is one of the principles of democratic ungovernability.

All isolated attempt is useless and entails to a supreme effort, that is only justified, if it serves to draw up you rule. The behavior of Zapata and Fariñas has demonstrated to where it is necessary to take I sacrifice, if freedom and mother country it is. Here Fariñas must handle with caution its decision, since it can lose his credibility if its case extends too much.

Although the behavior and methods of the punitive forces at the moment do not correspond with the traditional mechanisms of the Castro dictatorship. The systemic repression was its better strategy during years, does not conceive that public repression, morally disqualifies that them before the population and the opinion publishes international national and. They were product of that public repression, that justified its arrival to the power, and know they it. Unless hidden forces are acting to precipitate the fall of the regime.

Although on this last one it is necessary to reflect. It is not known clearly, which would be the necessary magnitude of a social outbreak, that makes the country unmanageable. An ungovernability that standing up to the sprouting of one Military junta that controls the power. This is the unique exit that is to him being to the Cuban town, if it does not work in the institutionalization of the opposition and the Cuban civil society.

Nevertheless, to institutionalize the opposition and the civil society resources are needed and a disposition the leaders of the internal and external opposition to change their mentality. Everybody knows and agrees that the main obstacle of the Cuban opposition is the lack of entailment or identification with the masses, but nothing is made on the matter. With that intention the project of the opposition municipalities was elaborated, but it has not been defended with energy and boldness by the main representatives of the political organizations and the civil society, as much in the Island as in the outside.

The strategy of present Cuban intelligence is to prevent the movement of the most outstanding activists to sites of greater impact, as it is the capital of the country and some provincial capitals or where one is being realized you activate significant. This, plus the lack of resources to mobilize itself, does considers the necessity to conduct the battles of territorial form, since Reyna Luisa Tamayo Danger has asked well.

The lack of resources for the internal opposition, like work capital, not like life way, will entail to the massive migratory explosion of the opposition by means of the program of refugees. The unique thing that could somewhat diminish the effects of this situation, would be the massive formation of leaders by means of the opposition municipalities.

If we did not act with intelligence and speed, the internal dissidence - the one of the government - will be the one that reaches major protagonism. And if no, they observe the reactions that take place before any uprising of Milanese Little Paul, Silvio Rodriguez or any other camaján. If the present nomenclature decides to arrive until the end of its bilogical capacity and an emptiness takes place to be able, this dissidence would be in better conditions for training government, unless we prepare ourselves from now on and we manage to institutionalize the opposition and the civil society in Cuba.
