It´s Time to Change

In this article I am not going to evaluate the positive or negative that could have been of this event, either what I do not try is to express my discord or not with the concert. My intention is to express my modest opinion mainly the psychological scaffolding that is behind all this type of manifestations, to call them, somehow cultural, that has been carried out for more than 50 years of governmental totalitarianism in Cuba. 

This concert of Juans, over-sized beside the point, made me remember that approximately two months back, way home, saturated of ideas, fear and persecutions, when arriving at the park “the Tree-lined avenue� of this city, I listened to the deafening noise of one cubanísima music and the row of hundreds of children, young people and not so young, that they enjoyed some meals, drinks and of unexpected apparatuses - that left the imagination and the enterprising spirit of the Cuban - they simulated a prehistoric park of diversions.

An unexpected platform, with its respective entertainers, announced the first Aquatic Carnival nocturne in the history of Santiago of Cuba. In the middle of the park I already rose in was left it in one old source, still without water, by all means, to observe the boats in the bay. Nevertheless, the conservation instinct alerted to me that could be a propitious frame so that the Security of the State through their sicarios attempted against my person, reason why I immediately decided to retire of the place.

That entertainment, that distracts the masses and that we called non-political, indeed because does not question and it is interpreted like a happy multitude in the conditions that live, is what it is to him truly difficult to include the tourists who visit to us, including the foreigners who were present in the Concert of Juans and the santiaguero park during their aquatic carnival.

It is not possible to be caught to cabalidad which is behind all those apparent good intentions, if it is not part of which they take refuge in these activities to somehow look for distraction before so many injustices, sufferings and deficiencies of all type in which they live. While Juans and Miguel Bose continued singing: “… Dame an Island in means of the sea with the Libertad name…�

Our brothers in I exile must include/understand that and that the things no matter how much we strive, always do not leave as we wanted. For that reason it is necessary that they support to us and they let develop our strategies to us of work so that we pruned to make him more difficult or until impossible the work to the Security of the State.

He is vitally important more that is to revert the conditions of uncertainty worked in it and lived the opponents in Cuba, especially those of the East of the country and the isolated zones, where some does not exist diplomatic representation that can make viable some type of logistic aid or. The project of the “Municipalities of Opposition� in which we are really imbuidos has practically started of the anything and also it has become tremendous preoccupation for the Security of the State. We need a small logistic aid to continue with its implementation and development.

Nevertheless, others are saying the things that urgently are needed, but that aid must be unconditional to heighten our work in the projects that we are taking ahead. Us something cannot be conditioned that can make us seem like mercenary, serious escusa or justification so that to 88 Law or Law is applied to us Jaw by which at the moment more than 50 brothers of the cause of the 75 they continue fulfilling high sentences.

It is necessary that our brothers and in the exile realize here that many of which from always they have been present in the fight against the castrismo and in favor of the freedom in our country already comb sufficient grey hairs and in spite of that his vigor and desires to work they are worthy to imitate and we must first that nothing to respect them. Otherwise we would be falling simply in the game of the Security of the State that what wants in the first place is to divide to us and to make happen to all the opponents like collaborator to its service. I directly talk about to my brothers Frank Kings Lopez, President of the Government of Opposition Municipality Santa Clara and to Jose Agramonte Leyva, that seem to not know that the Security of the S-state the one that articulates all these divisions and confusions between us and often until unconsciously us loans for the game in damage and damage for our own cause. It is necessary that our minds are abran and the concord reigns between us. This fight is hard and difficult, but it is necessary to change the strategy, as it said Juans: “It´s Time to Change�
