Multitudinal celebration by the day of the Virgin of Cariad

SANTIAGO OF CUBA, 9 of September, the 2009 (www.miamiprogressive.com) cathedral of Santiago of Cuba was scene of multitudinal act of celebration, for the day of the Virgin of the Charity of Cobre, employer of Cuba, yesterday 8 of September.

Thousand of santiagueros reunited in act solemn, to carry out misa, after to cross in procession section included between Place of Mars, where it is located the Archbishopric and the own cathedral, that is to the South end of the Park Turfs, in this city.

Many political opponents met in the place and during the misa they asked by the quick liberation of all the political prisoners. Some directed to their request and orations in favor of the political prisoner Francisco Herodes Diaz Echemendía, who the next year will turn 20 years in the jail of Sweet potato.

The generalized request of the feligreses was directed to a change in the life of the population, afflicted by so many deficiencies and social and political limitations, for which many pleaded for a climate of reconciliation and social peace.

Also other opponents and relatives of political prisoners realized their peregrination towards the Sanctuary of Cobre, where they attended Ladies of Target Ana Belkis Ferrer Garci'a and Alejandrina Garci'a of the Riva.

In the homily realized in a temple filled with feligreses Monsignor Dionisio Garci'a, he made a call to the mutual respect, independent of the form to think of each, because all are children of God.
